What She Wishes You Really Knew

After reading a very simple yet insightful article I've decided to share some of what I've discovered. I agreed with most things in the article and will try to provide a link to it so that it can be read in its entirety at your leisure.

Men and women differ greatly and the lines of communication are almost always crossed. Hopefully these few #whatshewishesyoureallyknew tid bits help to change the way things are perceived by our male counterparts.

1. I will leave if you lie.
(If she stays distrust will only further ruin an already sundered relationship.)

2. I love it when you hug me from behind and whisper in my ear.

3. "Fine" is never an appropriate response when I ask you I look.

4. Most of the time when I fantasize, it's about you.

5. I get excited on simply seeing I have an email/text/whatsapp/bbm/phone call from you.

6. I expect you to call me.

7. I'm scared of losing my independence.

8. I'm  more forgiving of you than I really should be.
(Fellas appreciate THIS)

9. If I'm not having sex with you, I'm... a) ...having a fat day... b) ...not feeling "connected" to you. c)...blackmailing you to get something I want.

10. A man I love plans the occasional fancy-schmancy dress-up date and impromptu weekend getaways, and he buys my favorite candy in advance when we're just going to the movies.
(MESSAGE!!!! Its the little things that count guys)

11.When I compare my flabby tummy to a kangaroo pouch, say nothing.

12. You should never tell me what to do.

13. My breasts love much licking and sucking.
(You should have no problems obliging to this one.)

14. I'm very impressed when you ask for my advice.

15. Women get urinary-tract infections easily, so watch (and wash) your fingers.

16. You're sexy when you're: shaving, fixing things, wearing a white T-shirt and jeans, driving, holding a baby.

17. I need to hear how you feel about me. OFTEN.

18. If I'm not feeling loved, I will start looking...
(This goes both ways)

19. Even nice girls like hushed dirty talk in public.

20. For the record: I'd rather you break up with me than cheat.

21. It's cheating as soon as you're doing something with her that you wouldn't want me to see, hear, read...

22. You should know all this and more without my telling you.

50 Things Women Wish Men Knew

Divinity

Have you ever felt like you would take on the world if you had to? Repel bullets if need be? All for that one special person!!
That unconditional, unrequited love you feel each time you look into their eyes.
It's a beautiful feeling. A feeling a lot of us know first hand and a feeling others will come to know in their own time 😊

There is no greater joy than the accomplishment of being a parent.
Other things may come close but they don't quite compare. *blissful sigh* it's a wonderful feeling but alas some people never know the full and true joy of parenthood.

Many young people today are becoming parents by default in today's society. Some see the blessing in what they consider a mistake, accept the challenge and for the first time in their lives put another human being before themselves.

Others ignore what instinct they feel and continue to live, "young and wild and free" with no regard for the life they have helped to create and should help to mold. This is sad but thankfully we still live in a nation where it takes a village to raise a child; so if you find yourself able to lend a helping hand, do so. You never know when you yourself will need that helping hand.

Not sure you're ready for parenthood? Completely ignore Rodney Moncur's advice and take the necessary measurements needed. You'd never want an innocent life to suffer or to not have all that you can possibly offer because you were unprepared.

Just a little random advice 😁

We all of these days, no peppy message with this one

I'm crying everyone's tears
And there inside our private war
I died the night before
And all of these remnants of joy and disaster
What am I suppose to do

I want to cook you a soup that warms your soul
But nothing would change, nothing would change at all
It's just a day that brings it all about
Just another day and nothing's any good

The DJ's playing the same song
I have so much to do
I have to carry on
I wonder if this grief will ever let me go
I feel like I am the king of sorrow, yeah
The king of sorrow

I suppose I could just walk away
Will I disappoint my future if I stay
It's just a day that brings it all about
Just another day and nothing's any good

The DJ's playing the same song
I have so much to do
I have to carry on
I wonder will this grief ever be gone
Will it ever go
I'm the king of sorrow, yeah
The king of sorrow

I'm crying everyone's tears
I have already paid for all my future sins
There's nothing anyone
Can say to take this away
It's just another day and nothing's any good

I'm the king of sorrow, yeah
King of sorrow
I'm the king of sorrow, yeah
King of sorrow

Just Keep It Real

"I slept on this couch for weeks to make shit real" -Quelle

Humility is such a beautiful thing that is seemingly so rare in this day and time.

There is a difference between the have and the have nots, but what happens when the have nots try to give off the illusion that they do indeed possess certain things; whether it be business connects, friends in high places, or the money needed to make things happen?

What happens is some people are fooled, those who wish they had those things quickly try to align themselves with you to piggy back off of what they think it is you have and they your name gets dragged through the mud when push comes to shove and you cannot deliver.
That's one side of it. The other side of it is others silently watch from afar, people who saw your potential, your talent and would've reached out if you had some how managed to keep it real.

I will never understand how on an island that is 21X7 some have convinced others that the dirt in their hand is actually gold.
Don't rap about a Benz that you have rent or borrow to put in your video.
Don't glamorize a "vacation" you took that you had to spend on someone's couch until you sweet talked some poor sole into sending you a ticket for you to get back home.
Keep it real!

Life is always sweeter when we can be honest with ourselves.
Fuck what the world thinks.

Quelle talks about his sacrifices, a rarity in this humble guy I've known for years, and not once was there a flicker of remorse or disdain in his voice. He knew the road he chose wasn't going to be an easy one and he in no way tries to glamorize it or how he gets it done.

I listen to this other chick and she's all about that "jet set" life -_- sweet girl please grow up.
Flying coach on borrowed miles or funds is hardly the jet set life.
Reality is reality is reality is reality and only you can change it.

So you slept on a couch until shit started to happen?!?!
That's a story worth hearing! That's inspiration to your fellow country men that want to trod the path that you have undertaken. That is keeping it real!

No one respects the person who is in "ATL" rubbing shoulders with so and so and nothing ever materializes.....
You look like a fraud. Whether you are actual one or not will likely become the subject of many a discussions and I'm pretty sure the odds are not in your favor.

Avoid all of that homie and just keep it real. No one said you had to tell anyone anything to begin with but it's when you choose to share and you lie AND ARE FOUND OUT that you just look so gully. Just let's avoid that eh?

No one is perfect and we all make mistakes but learn from them before it's too late.

Register to vote, I dare ya!

With election right around the corner I had the privilege of viewing a film called on the wings of men by Calvin Dwight Harris. He compiled hours of footage an interviews to provide an astounding look at one of our most noted nation builders.: Sir Lynden Oscar Pindling.

The main focus of the film, in my opinion was the political life and hardships face by Sir Lynden. In what may have seemed as an unthinkable feat he helped to bring about our independence and establish an efficient form of government. Those accomplishments were not met without their set of obstacles, including being ostracized by fellow Bahamians and fellow politicians alike, called in to question on the basis of characteristic and practices by the United States government and being accountable at all times to the Bahamian people and the new nation he was helping to mold.

That was very few generations ago and it rings true in the hearts and minds of many older Bahamians who were there to see hear and be apart such a historical time.
To some degree this has crippled our culture not allowing our parents and grandparents to press onward, continuously being innovative, open-minded and supportive of new policies and factions. they've held onto a past, that past for far too long.

Bahamians seem to have to be at their wits end politically to be open to or hold steadfast to the idea of ushering in a new regime, a fresh breeze, a fresh outlook, CHANGE!
While its easy to stick with what you know and go with what has worked best time and time again, nothing is concrete in an ever-changing world THAT HAS BEEN PROVEN!

I've had political parties come to my home, and just like I hear on the radio, see on television or view over the internet bash the other party for whatever there short comings may be at the same time I've hard parties take the time to sit down and explain their plan, their views and ideas.
That is the type of conversation I welcome and the conversations I hope our youth will welcome. Bashing another politician or party gets you nowhere and it gets you there fast in the mindset of many. It is also welcome by a large number of people and has proven to have some influence in our electoral process. If it didn't why would they continue to do so?
If you stoop to their level what is to stop me from believing that you won't make the blunders that they themselves have already made?

Don't tell me going Green will be a waste of my young vote!

Don't tell me about The FNM's shortcomings as if you yourself are God!

Don't tell me the PLP is out of touch!

Instead tell me what are your individual goals and your parties over all plan for the nation
I am a Bahamian and proud to be one and that being said you should never underestimate my intelligence.

I've sat and talked with members of the generation that were around for the era of Pindling only to hear how for the first time in their lives Hubert Alexander Ingraham and the FNM, has their vote, their voice!

I've spoken to the generation of my parents some of whom feel that the grass may definitely be greener on the plp's side.

And I'm always in conversation with my generation who the DNA has a seemingly favorite position with, they feel that it is definitely time for a change, time to usher in a younger fresher point of view. They see that in Branville McCartney and the Democratic National Alliance. They see their future and the future of generations to come in 'going green'.

Everyone under the sun is entitled to their opinion and I firmly believe that this election will prove to be a shocker to many of my fellow Bahamians.

You want to be an agent of change? You plan to go green?

You want the bush to crack again and Perry to be gone?

You say Papa got your back? You feel the torch still burns bright?
